There's a brand-new assessment in the Everything DiSC family: the Work of Leaders Profile.

This new assessment builds on the DiSC methodology and emphasizes concrete ways to lead a group in three key areas: vision, alignment, and execution. As the name suggestions, Work of Leaders is geared specifically towards leadership - i.e., a one-to-many managerial relationship (as opposed to the one-to-one focus of the Everything DiSC Workplace profile).

Deadline for Dec. 6-7 DiSC Certification

A public service announcement: today is the registration deadline for the upcoming DiSC certifications. We're offering certifications in both Everything DiSC and DiSC Classic on December 6-7 in Minneapolis.

Please note that this will be the very last DiSC Classic certification. In the future, all certifications will use the Everything DiSC platform.

We were excited to see The 8 Dimensions of Leadership made it to No. 3 on Businessweek's list of New Business Books!

DiSC is a powerful tool for improving communication within teams. Here's an interactive exercise to try in your next DiSC training session.

Ask participants to meet in their primary style groups and have them design a T-shirt that represents their DiSC style. Have the groups explain their T-shirts and provide 3 dos and 3 don’ts on how to best communicate with their behavioral style.

DiSC Graphs 1 & 2

When running Online DiSC Classic 2.0 Profiles and DiSC Classic 2 Plus Profiles in your EPIC Account, you have the ability to turn on or off Graphs 1 and 2, and the tally box scores.

First, a little information about each of the graphs:

Graph 1: These are your "Most" responses for each of the four scales (D, i, S, and C).

Graph 2: These are your "Least" responses for each of the four scales.

Graph 3: This graph is the result of combining your "Most" choices with your "Least" choices and is used to determine your highest DiSC dimension, Intensity Index scores, and Classical Profile Pattern. (Graph 3 is automatically included in the Online DiSC Classic 2.0 and DiSC Classic 2 Plus Reports).

Tally Box Scores: Shows a summary and the differences of your "Most" and "Least" choices for each of the scales.
